Autoclear Expert HS remained clear, while yellowing and haziness is visible in Clearcoat X after some time.
Light reflection is clear and distinct for the surface coated with Autoclear Expert HS. Surface coated with Clearcoat X does not have the same clarity and sharpness.
To assess the atmospheric corrosion resistance of the coated surfaces, a salt spray test was carried out on both panels scribed with “X” marks. After the test, the appearance of rust was visible on the “X” marked on the panel coated with Clearcoat X, but not for the panel coated with Autoclear Expert HS.
Both painted surfaces were exposed to external elements e.g. engine oil, battery solution, perfumes, bird droppings. Surface coated with Autoclear Expert HS shows visibly less damage than the surface coated with Clearcoat X.
