MG has granted approval of AkzoNobel to be a supplier of premium vehicle refinish products and services to their authorized dealers and bodyshops in India.
The endorsement is granted following a series of rigorous tests and referral checks of AkzoNobel’s refinish paint systems. AkzoNobel’s recommended waterborne products have met MG’s high standards and will provide quality and durable repair paintwork on MG vehicles. On top of supplying refinish paint, the agreement also includes dedicated technical training, colour management assistance and consulting services designed to help MG grow their collision repair businesses.
Sharing on MG’s approval, Prasanth Chandrasekharan, Country Head of AkzoNobel’s India Vehicle Refinish and Automotive business said, “The India auto refinish market is poised to evolve and adopt more sustainability and resource efficiency practices. MG currently has 72 dealerships with Body & Paint repair facilities in India.
