STP 01
Professional Preparation Training
This professional preparation training will cover following topics:
- The use of Personal Protection Equipment
- Substrate recognition, pre-treatment and system selection
- Sanding materials and techniques
- Masking techniques
- Spray-gun operation
- Product information and application
The focus is on improving knowledge and skills in surface preparation and the appropriate product use according to the TDS.
- Increased preparation techniques knowledge and skills.
- Reduced risk on preparation errors and or rework.
After this training, participants will be able to:
- Identify and prepare the different types of substrates.
- Execute an invisible repair with recommended products according to the specifications in the T.D.S.
- Select and use the appropriate personal protection equipment (PPE)
- All AkzoNobel employees.
- All distributors.
- Bodyshop employees and painters.
1-2 years’ experience within the bodyshop.

STP 02
Professional Application Training
In this professional application training will cover following topics:
- The use of Personal Protection Equipment
- Application techniques
- Spray-gun operation
- Masking techniques
- Product information and application
- Polishing methods
The focus is on improving knowledge and skills in application techniques and the appropriate product use according to the TDS.
- Increased knowledge on paint behaviour and paint system selection.
- Increased application techniques knowledge and skills.
- Reduced risk on preparation errors and or re-do’s.
After this training, participants will be able to:
- Select the appropriate products for repair.
- Execute an invisible repair with recommended products according to the specifications in the T.D.S.
- Select and use the appropriate personal protection equipment (PPE).
- All AkzoNobel employees.
- All distributors.
- Bodyshop employees and painters.
1-2 years’ experience within the bodyshop.
Followed the professional preparation training.

STP 03
Apprentice Preparation Training
This apprentice preparation training will cover following topics:

The focus is on a very practical way to train the apprentice in the basic knowledge and skills in surface preparation and the use of products according to the TDS.

After this training, participants will be able to:
